We take children frequently on field trips, factory visits, trekking camps and other outdoor experiences. Children involuntarily learn skills that can never be taught within the walls of a classroom. Basic survival skills, socializing, the strength of staying together as a group, and maintaining discipline even while having fun... some of the truly unique points of a Bell education. |

Long-distance educational tours for students of Std IX and XI are an annual occurrence in Bell School. It is by these experiences that children learn the real value of cultural differences, and thereby get the wisdom to respect diversity. So far, children have travelled as far as Kullu Manali, Jaipur and New Delhi in the North India tours. In Southern India, they have been to various parts of Kerala, and the archeological sites of Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. Twice in our 15 years, we have undertaken overseas tours to Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand with about 25 children. |
