| In mid 2008, Bell School became associated with two schools in Germany through the ICC project. This association between Freie Oberscule, Baruth, Neue Gymnasium, Potsdam and Bell School quickly grew to become a cultural exchange project. Over a dozen families from the German schools were willing to send their children to Bell School, and a 3-year tieup was established. The project was co-ordinated completely by just two members from either ends - Mr.Vashikaran representing Bell School, and Mrs.Babette on behalf of the German schools. Along with the German delegation, came Mrs.Petra Benke (the Principal) and Mr.Traeger (Foreign Relations Officer) who completely documented this project to present to the German Ministry of Education.
The team of 14 students and 3 teachers departed from Germany on 18th of January 2009 and successfully returned home from their colourful stay in India, on the 28th of January. An interesting aspect of the Germans' stay here was that each member of the student team stayed in the house of a Bell student during the entire project. The project was meticulously planned and organized by a team of Bell school co-ordinators, especially Mrs.Abirami and Mrs.Kalaivani, the chief co-ordinators of the ICC project.
